Handset maker Realme introduced its newest flagship handset, the Realme GT 6, last week. The smartphone went on first sale on June 25. Marketed as the ‘AI Flagship Killer,’ the Realme GT 6 goes head-to-head with competitors like the OnePlus 12R (read our full review of OnePlus 12R here) and the new Xiaomi 14 CIVI. Available in Fluid Silver and Razor Green, the device features a large battery, ultra-fast charging capabilities and a capable camera system.

This latest addition to the Realme GT series is powered by top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and features advanced aritificial intelligence (AI) capabilities similar to those found in Samsung Galaxy S24 line and Google’s Pixel devices. The Realme GT 6 is the company’s first model to come with generative AI (GenAI) features pre-installed.

Prospective buyers opting for the Realme GT 6 8GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB variants can get a Rs 4,000 cashback when using ICICI, HDFC, or SBI bank cards.

The Realme 6T 12GB/256GB variant comes with a Rs 3,000 bank discount. Additionally, Realme is providing a Rs 1,000 bonus on trade-in deals, and buyers can opt for an EMI plan of up to 12 months. These bank and exchange offers are available exclusively for online purchases only. However, those buying from mainline stores will benefit from six-month screen damage protection and receive Realme Buds Air 5 at no additional cost.

Realme GT 6 Specifications And Features

The Realme GT 6 boasts an AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution and a triple rear camera system, dominated by a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 primary sensor. Additionally, it is equipped with a 5,500mAh battery that supports 120W proprietary SuperVOOC fast charging.

In terms of imaging, the Realme GT 6 is equipped with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 sensor with an f/1.69 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS). The camera setup also features a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 telephoto sensor and an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra wide-angle camera. For selfies and video calls, the phone offers a 32-megapixel front camera with an f/2.45 aperture.

The display boasts up to 6,000 nits of brightness and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. This new device is powered by a 4nm octa-core Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It also includes a 10,014mm 3D tempered dual VC system to improve cooling efficiency. The device features a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,264×2,780 pixels) 8T LTPO AMOLED display, offering up to a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and Dolby Vision. 

The Realme GT 6 supports dual Nano SIM cards and runs Android 14 with Realme UI 5 atop.

The Realme GT 6 brings advanced AI features such as AI Night Vision Mode and Smart Removal, which enhance photo editing and user interaction. For connectivity options, the device offers Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and Wi-Fi 6.
