From total solar eclipse to aurora lights visible all across the world, it looks like 2024 will be a busy year for skywatchers. To add to this list, another major cosmic event is right around the corner in the rarest of events. Six planets are coming together for what is being called a planet parade, a rare cosmic event that’s set to enthrall all stargazers.
Planet parade, also known as Planetary Alignment, is set to take place on June 3, where, at a specific period, six planets — Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune — revolving around the sun in an elliptical orbit will appear as they are passing in a straight line. For a short period, one will be able to see, using special equipment such as a telescope or high-power binoculars, all these planets together within the line of sight.
