A train derailed in Jharkhand’s Chakradharpur in the early hours of Tuesday (July 30). Train number 12810 Howrah-CSMT Express derailed near Chakradharpur, injuring six people. The locomotive involved is numbered 37077. The accident occurred between Rajkharswan West Outer and Barabambu stations around 4:00 am. Railway medical teams have started relief and rescue operations. ARME with on-site staff and ADRM CKP are present. All the injured have received first aid from the Indian Railways medical team. Approximately five coaches of the Howrah-Mumbai Mail Express derailed and collided with a standing goods train. Railways have confirmed more than six injured, being treated at Chakradhar Railway Hospital.
