The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta will release the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 admit card today, November 5. Candidates who registered for the exam can download their CAT 2024 admit card from the official website, iimcat.ac.in, using their user ID and password. The CAT 2024 exam is scheduled for November 24 and will take place in 170 cities across India. During the application process, candidates could select up to five preferred exam cities. However, the list of cities may change at the discretion of the CAT authorities.
The admit card will provide important details, including the exam shift timing, candidate’s personal information, test center location, address, and the uploaded photo. It will also outline the exam day guidelines that candidates must follow at the test center.
CAT Admit Card 2024: How To Download?
- Go to the official IIM CAT website at iimcat.ac.in.
- Click on the link for the IIM CAT 2024 admit card on the homepage.
- Enter your login details and click “Submit.”
- Your admit card will appear on the screen.
- Review the details, then download the admit card.
- Print a hard copy for the exam day.

The CAT 2024 admit card is a mandatory document for entry into the test center. Candidates must bring their hall ticket to the exam, as entry will be denied without it. IIM Calcutta will conduct the exam in three separate sessions on November 24, and candidates’ exam shifts will be assigned based on their selected city preferences.
The test duration is 120 minutes, with three sections: Section I – Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Section II – Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Section III – Quantitative Ability. CAT is conducted for admission to postgraduate and doctoral-level business programmes offered by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). Additionally, many non-IIM institutes also consider CAT scores in their admission processes.
