As a part of his vision to develop his native village as ‘Swarna Naravaripalle’ and to make it a model panchayat in Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has conducted several meetings with the residents in the limits of three secretariats during his visit to the ancestral village on the occasion of Sankranti festival.

Mr. Naidu received suggestions from the local people on Tuesday and asked the officials to work on the overall development of the village. He promised to sanction new houses to 286 eligible beneficiaries and complete the construction works within a year.

The Chief Minister also announced LPG connections to 286 people who did not have the facility earlier.

“The government is initiating measures to provide NTR Bharosa pensions to 137 eligible people from next month. The piped gas system will be provided to the village, with subsidy to LPG consumers under the Deepam scheme. Safe drinking water will be provided under Jal Jeevan Mission to 87 houses which do not have tap connections,” Mr. Naidu said.

He further said that steps would be taken to provide quality education in eight primary schools in the village.

The government has already taken measures to ensure that the students are trained well. With the financial assistance from Sri City, various facilities including an AI technology lab is being set up at Rangampet Zilla Parishad High School.
